Bow Press is finished

I purchased a used older style bow press about a month ago with the plans on converting it to be usable with the new parallel limb bows.

Here are the pre and post photos. The position of all 4 rollers is adjustable, and while I had things cut apart I spun the base on the left side so the thumbscrew is in the front. All I need now are some wrist sweatbands to put on the rollers to protect the finish on the bows.

Re: Bow Press is finished

Thanks guys. I got a good deal on the press, so it saved me a lot of fabrication time. All said and done, I have less then $140 into it and about 6-8 hours of fab time. Not bad for a style of press that sells for almost $500. laugh.gif

Dude that turned out really nice. I am sooooo glad you got it finished too so I can stop hearing you gripe about it not being finished. LOL
