ODH Posted October 21, 2006 Report Share Posted October 21, 2006 Shot him on 10-5-06. Good sized deer for him only being 1 1/2 years old! the shot was at 5 to 6 yards out. He was in a bedding area when I saw him, and he desided he was going to walk down the trail right by my stand. I pulled a little on the shot, which was a pass thru but it hit the liver. Wasn't the greatest shot I could have made. Ended up tracking him till 1 in the morning, and over 400 yards. He jumped in a pond and I found him about 4 pm the following afternoon. Man was I excited!
