Tom2008
Well I bet some of you remember posting up this buck back in August. Well over the weekend I got a picture of him and got to see what his rack really looked like. Looks like he is ready for the rut to me. Me and Moon were looking at him trying to figure out a name. I told her about the main beams being probably only an inch away from each other and she said how about "Tipster". So thats how that name came up. How old do you guys think he is? He has a pretty gray face and I'm guessing he is around 3 1/2. His chest sticks out pretty far too.
hoosierhunter
Re: Meet Tipster! I think you might have two different deer there teammate...take a look at the right side of the rack on the G-2/3's..In the first pick they both curve forward. In the second pick his right G-2 goes straight up. It might just be the camera angle but I also think the first looks like a bigger rack...either way stick one of them! Tom2008
Re: Meet Tipster! Thats what I was thinking too, but I figured the first picture looks bigger because it is so blurry maybe give the illusion. If it is a different buck then awsome! wtnhunt
Re: Meet Tipster! Nice body size on that deer. Neck sure has swollen up a lot since the August pics. A buck around here with a neck and body that shape and size would probably be a 4.5 year old.
