IllinoisArcher Posted October 24, 2006 Report Share Posted October 24, 2006 Well saturday morning 3 of my friends were driving and ended up hitting a tree. The driver and one of the passangers were unconicous and the other one climbed out the back window.... The ambulance got there and it took them 1 1/2 hours to cut the roof off of the truck to get them out of it... The driver was life-flighted to Loyola hospital he was in induced acoma (sp?) cause he was thrashing around when they were trying to get him in the helicopter he got home last nite and only has a concussion....The other passanger got a broken leg and is still in the hospital and needs to have surgery on his leg.... The kid that climbed out of the truck has cuts bruises everywhere....The scary thing is they called me a 1/2 hour before this happened to see if i wanted to go... and when i say these are my friends.. i mean they are my closest friends... so if u could please pray for Daivd(driver) Justin & Zach (passangers) Andrew Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know the reason but anytime you get behind a wheel remember it could and will happen to you if you aren't careful. The human body wasn't made to be strapped to thousands of pounds of metal and pushed down the road at high speed. In fact the human body wasn't made to take impact from any speed faster then a full out run. God bless them. Theyll have prayers for a quick recovery. Lesson for you youngsters, slow it down, focus on the road, and be careful. You are not ten feet tall and bulletproof.
