I was in the woods 25 mins and I look up and I see this buck coming. When it finally came up over the hill I see it was about a 16 inch speard 8 pointer. Guest Buffoonus Posted October 26, 2006 Report Share Posted October 26, 2006 Re: Missed a nice 8 pointer Too bad....I was touting my shooting prowess to all my friends telling them I was 5-5 over the last 5 years and,,then the Gun Gods got me...I had a nice 6 pointer pushed to me from a drive aprox 50 yards away..he stopped was standing by a tree about 2 inches in diameter and Pulled the trigger and cut that tree right in half.....as he bounded off untouched....
