Stinger-Hunter
Guys, I don't know much about this rifle except that it is a Browning BAR 7mm used for $459 at Gander Mountain. It has a 30 day warranty. I know the gunsmith at this particular location is rather horrible and didn't provide much information about the gun, so I'm kind of iffy on it. It looks in decent shape although it looks like it was used for quite some time. No scope included. What do you think?

That much for a used gun from a place where you have little respect for the gunsmiths abilities, think I would have to pass.
Guest Xen
Re: Browning BAR 7mm used? Is it worth it 30 day warranty... can you return it in those 30 days if you don't like it?? do you even know if the gunsmith actually did any work to the rifle, or is it just used? a lot of people call themselves gunsmiths and can't even install a scope correctly, so you do need to be careful. you could also take it to a gunsmith that you do know and have him look it over. if he thinks the gun is crap, take it back. i dunno, it's hard to say... going out and shooting a box of ammo through it to see what you think is kind of hard advise to give somebody when the gun could be anything from "completely worn out" to "some kid got it when he was 14 and packed it all over and the finish looks bad".
