Guest isiaha
On the news today it said we will stay in Iraq 4 more years. This is something to think about. 2804 American men and woman have been killed in Iraq. 44779 American men and woman have been wounded in Iraq 497 American men and woman have been killed in afghanistan 5729 American men and woman have been wounded in Afghanistan US map link. Newarcher
Re: Since the start of the Iraq and Aghanistan WAR Each is loved, each is missed. However, during the Iraq and Afganistan war we have killed exponentially more terrorists and terrorist wannabes than we have lost. We have lost approximately the same number of soldiers in these wars as we did civilians on 9/11. We have almost rendered Al Qaeda impotent and have killed most of the leadership and command and control of the groups. I regret that most Americans are so pathetically sheepish that they follow the network news and have turned on our President and soldiers. I just thank God that the media of today wasn't around for WWII or else we would have surrendered to Hitlar just so that he wouldn't kill any more of our soldiers. Thank God that the soldiers who have perished and those that are still over there understand the sacrifice and are willing to give it so that Hillary Clinton, John Kerry (said our soldiers were terrorists of the Iraqi people) and all the other Democrats and the media can sit here and thumb their noses at them. God bless those who serve, served, and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice....regrettably for a Country that no longer has the fortitude, gratitude, or aptitude to run itself. My rant for the day. New

[/ QUOTE ] Thank you for your service....I mean that. I am only 35 years old so I can't claim longevity but in my brief time I have never seen a culture in the elite media and 1/2 of our elected representatives that just absolutely seem to hate this Country and everything it stands for. I have never seen the media and representatives 'out' some of the most important and useful surveilllance programs we have....after being specifically asked not to by the White House and told what a detrimental effect it would have on our terror prevention campaigns. My Lord they did it anyway because they thought that it would cause outrage and get them votes. We have John Kerry saying our troups are kicking in doors in the dead of night and terrorizing women and children. We have Howard Dean saying that the war cannot be won. We have Nancy Pelosi (who looks like she will be Speaker of the House and TWO HEARTBEATS away from the Presidency) who said that after 9/11 she didn't consider us at war.....despite Al Qaeda issuing a fatwa years prior and attacking us multiple times. NOT AT WAR would be Speaker of the House? I wish the American people would stand up on election day and not give these traitors one singe vote. Tell them that it is time that our leaders put America and America's needs and safety first. To bad that while doing that we couldn't also vote against the Republicans who have done a SHAMEFUL job in virtually everything they did in the past 6 years. I want to know where our Country went. Where is the Country that was here when Ronald Reagan was here? One of infinite hope and optimism. One that stood up and said "no, you aren't going to do that or say that about our Country". It almost seems like ALL of our elected Representatives have given up on our ideals, principles, and values and are just out getting theirs before the collapse. No one believes in America any more, even our citizens. For cyring out loud, the Supreme Court is quoting international law in its decisions now....NOT the U.S. Constitution. All I can say is that if the founding fathers were alive today....given all they risked to create this country.....about 2/3 of our Senators would be swininging by their necks come sunrise tomorrow morning. vagobbln
Re: Since the start of the Iraq and Aghanistan WAR Well said New. God Bless every one of of dedicated service men and women. Isiaha. If you want to quote statistics, think about these: Go see the new movie coming out about the battle of Iwo Jima. The US suffered over 26,000 casualties in that battle alone. Just trying to offer some perspective. One more "number". We also lost 3000 innocent Americans on 9/11/01. I don't ever want to see another one of our armed service members hurt or killed, but just remember why we're there. Just my 2 cents. Newarcher
Re: Since the start of the Iraq and Aghanistan WAR Good point, wtnhunt.....presuming the soldier comes back home alive and in one piece, the families are the ones who really have the hard time. Especially when kids are home. Thank God for those willing to stand up and sacrifice for our freedom and that of others around the world. Guest j_beste
Re: Since the start of the Iraq and Aghanistan WAR well said new! War is **** but is necessary sometimes. I dont know if I agree with the Iraq war, but I KNOW I dont agree with the socialist democrats. I truly believe they want us to be like europe and most Dems are a threat to our "country" way of life. Hang on to your guns!

Newarcher
Re: Since the start of the Iraq and Aghanistan WAR I wish I could run! I would clear up the world's North Korea and Iran threat on the first morning of my administration! The world wouldn't like it but hey, we have plenty of extra warheads! . The democrats have become marxists/socialists/communists and the republicans have become democrats. We need a "New" choice, I agree......you certainly would hear and see things coming from the White House that haven't been heard since our founding fathers were around...that's for sure! Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Since the start of the Iraq and Aghanistan WAR This is really pretty simple folks. If we leave Iraq before there is a stable and secure democracy in place, then we lose and the terrorists win. Iraq will become what Afghanistan was, a terrorist training camp to prepare Islamo-fascists for future attacks against the U.S. We'll see more and more 9/11 type attacks and we'll watch in growing horror as the fight is carried to the streets of our neighborhoods instead of the streets of Baghdad. I don't like seeing our soldiers killed and wounded in Iraq, but I would like it even less if it were our children dieing here at home. Newarcher
Re: Since the start of the Iraq and Aghanistan WAR The problem is that you can't make them see it any more than you can make the terrorists see that killing people because they aren't muslim is lunacy. They simply don't want to see it..... That's why we have to get out the vote and not have any of this protest no-vote. A no vote is a vote for these people....the only thing that will prevent Speaker Nancy Pelosi is turnout. Tell all your friends. New

One showed the map of the home towns of where our men and woman who gave there life for our freedom. Two of them between 18 and 20 years old said it does not matter to us. I was in shock being a veteran myself I could not believe that some people in our country do not care that our men and woman have died for our freedom. I would like to say more right now but I'm looking at these two loosers right now and it burns my A__ . WOW
