Re: beretta or browning

Definetly the Browning. Hopefully my next gun will be the Browning Gold 20ga. Dad has a Browning gas 2000 FN, the one with the speedloader in the side. Man is that one sweet shooting gun. cool.gif I found one of those used in a Gander Mountain in Marquette, MI on the way home from WI last winter and found the same gun in 20ga for $375. Mint condition. The only reason I didn't get it is because of the hassle I would have had to go through to get it into Canada at the border.

Re: beretta or browning

I became a Browning Fan when my Dad purchased a used A5 Magnum 12 gauge when I was growing up. I now have that gun, plus another 12 Magnum, a 12 Light, 16, and a 20 Mag. They all are sweet guns and I've never had any problems with any of them. I love the feel you get when the barrel cycles back and ejects the spent shell. I never get tired of it.

Re: beretta or browning

What type of scattergun you looking to get?? Auto? Over/under?? confused.gif

My first piece of advice to you would be this: Other folks' recommendations are fine & good. But it comes down to which gun fits you best and feels best in your hands.

I just went shopping for an O/U a couple months ago. I tried guns from Remington, Beretta, Weatherby, Winchester, Browning, CZ and probably a couple I forgot. The guns ranged from $700 to $3000. I ended up with one toward the lower end of the price scale...........simply because it fit me like a glove. Go somewhere that you can put all the candidates on the counter side-by-side and see for yourself which one jumps out at you.
