huntinsonovagun
What's the diff.? I see the spirals are faster, and I have seen the charts. Does the spiral have a more solid wall?? That's what I am getting from the charts (which I personally like a very solid wall). Spirals seem to be more rare, so nowhere to try them that I know of..... Thanks!! Tony
Re: Spiral cam1/2 vs. Cam1/2 ok Ryan hers the deal with the Cams you asked about... the Sprial Cam and a 1/2 has a lot more solid wall..its only available in 55 % let off . its has a small valley and is designed as a speed cam...i also believe that the Sprial cam has to be ordered in a specific draw length... its not adjustable like the regular Cam 1/2.. which makes it a tough bow to sell if you ever want to get rid of it... the regular Cam and a 1/2 has a slightly softer wall , but i sure dont feel it and is available in 65 and 75 % let off.. either cam is extremely accurate but for those that want a little extra performance they get the sprial cam.. now for the kicker .. the regular Cam and a 1/2 has a small rubber bumper on the bottom cam . its supposed to make the bow less noisy when letting down the bow. if you remove it , it makes the wall feel a lot harder ... i did this and it made a big differance for me... hope this helps you out... RyanH
Re: Spiral cam1/2 vs. Cam1/2 hey tony what kind of difference did removing the rubber bumper make?
huntinsonovagun
Re: Spiral cam1/2 vs. Cam1/2 Ryan, I have heard this before. Just makes a more solid wall....instead of a "cushiony" one. Wish I would have known that on my '01 ultratec a couple years ago!! I HATED the wall on that thing (before cam1/2) so I traded it!
