...but it took me awhile to drag him out grin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif Seen him at about 50 yards and he was coming in fast. Had to switch to my P&Y Squirrel arrow and almost got picked off when I did. He stopped on top of a small branch at 12 yards. You could tell he was getting nervous, the wind was swirling in the bottoms there and he might have winded me. I quickly drew back, set the pin and released the arrow - nailed him right behind the shoulder and came out in front of the far leg taking out the lungs and heart. Many people don't realize that the squirrels here in Illinois have a hardened plate covering there vitals, similar to a wild hog, so I was lucky I had my poundage set high grin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif Knocked him off the branch and pinned him right to the ground for an easy tracking job.

Now if I can just have a deer walk by I might be alright crazy.gifcrazy.gifshocked.gifsmirk.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif
