wtnhunt
OK, so I have admittedly been a skeptic about the scent lok and scent blocker scent CONTAINING clothing lines. Now I see in cabelas catalogs they have a line of scent and odor ELIMINATING clothing. Somehow they are using silver, think it said something about using non-iodized particles of silver in the clothing to kill the bactreria that cause odors, resulting in an elimination of the odors. If this really works like claimed, would think it would be better than any scent containing clothing. Being that I do sweat, and I realize that is my biggest fight with keeping my scent practices under control, this new line has my interest. Not to mention it is priced much more reasonably than the activated carbon or charcoal scent containing suits. Kind of curious about some others thoughts on this new line. Gimmick, or think it really works?
GWSmith
Re: scent skinz-odor eliminating clothing Watched a Show the other evening with some Rep from that company on it talking about the product. Sounded convincing to say the least. If that product actually does last for the Life of the Garment like claimed that would be something I would consider buying myself. It does not need Regenerated in a Dryer and you can wash it like normal without any adverse effects to the garment
Guest Scent_Lok_G_Designer
Re: scent skinz-odor eliminating clothing I will caution you on the anti-microbial technology (silver is an anti-microbial). The body produces over 350 different odors that are not related to bacteria. So that suit, and ALL other anti-microbial products do NOTHING for those odors. In addition, anti-microbials do nothing to bacteria unless it is in direct contact with them. Only activated carbon products have the ability to adsorb all types of odors coming off the body. wtnhunt
Re: scent skinz-odor eliminating clothing Thanks for the input, that is interesting. Was not aware there were 350 different types of odors aside from bacteria related odors, that is pretty unreal. Was hoping you would give some input on this.
