arrow32
We moved stand 3 today and are taking this evening off due to being in the woods the last few days and being worn out. I know it will be ok to hunt the stand we just moved but would you hunt it? Got the cam setup out there. Our scent control is good so im not worried about that. Also our hunt this morning was crap. Neither one of us saw any deer. Better luck next time i guess.
missouri hunter
Re: What do you think i hunt with a climber so I may be the wrong person to ask, but you won't kill them if you are not in it. I have had them come running up to me climbing before to check out the noise I guess??????
VTbowman
Re: What do you think I normally give the area a day if I move one too so no I think, IMHO, your doing right by not going back in so soon.
Tony
Re: What do you think on oct 6th at 11am i hung a stand and was done. came back that afternoon and shot my doe at around 5pm. i think if you are quiet getting in and out and leave as little scent as possible , you can get away with hunting the same stand location the same day you move it. but keeping scent to a minumum is mandatory. my doe was a little spooky, but she just couldnt find me until the Muzzy Moment. wtnhunt
Re: What do you think Have moved stands and then later on the same day killed deer from them before. I would hunt it. Afraid I am going to have to move my climber next time I hunt it.
Guest IllinoisMackDaddyHunter
Re: What do you think with scent contolled as possible i have moved a stand on several ocassions in late morning and hunted it in the afternoon if the wind is right. i use deer dander as a cover scent for the past 2 yrs and havent been winded yet even on those wind swirling days so i guess id recommend it -- good hunting
