need2hunt
As you may know I at times make mistakes - not happy that I do but I try not to shy away from the fact either. This year I accidently left someone that signed up off of the teams when I drew them. I am going to make that right by starting to bump no shows. This is how it will work, I currently have a total of 18 no shows, I have reviewed their post counts and their current activity plus how many no shows on a team. I will bump the one that looks most likely not to show up/participate. I will make the bump known to the bumpee in a pm as well as inform the team in their team thread and let them know who there new member is. Now if by chance the first no show that is bumped shows back up and they either get something or want to participate then I will evaluate who is left on the no show list and bump down the line. What that means is that the last person in the no show list is the ONLY one that has the possibility of being bumped with no recourse to get back in. Lastly some interesting facts... 66% of the teams have all members accounted for (18 of 27) Roughly 50% of the no show participants are currently active on the rest of the forum (so you may want to pm any missing members you have a 50% chance of them showing up). 5% of the no shows have a post count less than 100, or 1 out of the 18. 67% of the no shows have a post count between 100 and 500, or 12 out of 18. 27% of the no shows have a post count greater than 500, or 5 out of 18. Oops, I should also add that this DOES NOT mean that i will be taking any additional people into the contest. Just bumping down the list of those that entered and didn't show.
