Hey, look what I did today!

Went out hunting today despite the wind advisory....didn't want to be there for some of those gusts! blush.gif

Anyway, saw this guy cruising through the area and hoped he would hit the Tinks I had dragged in and he did. Made it to the other landowner's property but I got permission to get him. Ran about 70 yards!

Keep in mind, I am 6'3" 285 so this is a BIG bodied deer and certainly of the stock of the 7 pointer I shot two years ago. This one is much bigger though, hard to tell how much mass the horns have in the picture but he is nice....no wall hanger but I am proud.

Got him with my Hoyt Trykon....my first with bessie! laugh.gif

My son, pictured with me helped me track it....great day.

Nah, I am so broke I can't afford to pay attention! I will be keeping it.

I think of that Havoctec many a times.....best looking camo job ever. Glad it is doing well and hope you are too!

New,

I have to agree, that is a nice camo job on that one. You don't see many in that camo pattern at all. We are doing fine, and have yet to stick one this year. I am glad you are doing well and it is nice to see a pic of that deer, very nice. Best of luck the rest of the year. and take care. Wade
