He presented me with about a 15 yard shot, which was a little too close, but my Night .50 cal did the job. He's got great mass and a little bit of character with his bladed brows and G2, plus he's got one little sticker point. He dressed out at 162 lbs. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with this deer, as he is my first muzzle loader buck, and my biggest deer yet. Another great Oklahoma deer!!! I knew that he looked familiar when I walked up to him, and after sorting thru all my pics, I found him! Any guesses on a score? 135ish? Nothing wrong with an up close and personal shot like that with a ML. At that range I'll bet the smoke didn't present a problem keeping tabs on the deer after the shot.
