Hey guys,

Just tought i would share my story with the rest of you. Saturday afternoon (10/28/06) I decided to hunt a small food plot me and my dad planted a few months ago. I walked into the woods about 5:15 P.M. and made a small ground blind out of some bushes that were growing there and just trimmed out two shooting lanes and sat on a dove stool behind the bushes. I was pretty well hidden since my realtree camo blended in pretty well. About 5:30 i got situated and was waiting for deer. It had been slow but i just had a good feeling about this afternoon. At 7:00 P.M. i look to my left and see 2 does feeding about 35 yards away, there is no way they can see me b/c the brush was so thick to my left. I was hoping they would keep feeding down the food plot until one got into my shooting lane before it got dark. After about 5 min. the smaller doe was 6 yards from me and still had no idea i was there while the bigger doe was now 20 yards and still about 2 foot from being in my shooting lane. Another 2 or 3 min. passed and the small doe was still at 6 yards feeding and the bigger doe was now at 12 yards slightly quartering to me. I started to draw and the small doe looks right at me, so i hold for a min and she starts feeding again. So i start to draw again and she looks at me again. I figured the small doe was gonna bust me anywa so i finish drawing and she takes a few steps back and the big doe still has no clue i am there. I settle the 20 yard pin behind the shoulder and let it fly. She ran about 30 yards stops looks around blows 2 times and falls right in the food plot. It was an awesome hunt espically to be on the ground. This was my 2nd deer with my bow and i have to say the sonic broadhead did its job. In the pictures the shot looks high and back but when gutting it i actually got the heart, 1 lung, and liver, so i guess thats why she only went 30 yards. Thanks for reading!! I forgot to mention, Never mind the date i had to change batteries and forgot to reset the date.
