drkillemquick Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 In the most recent issue of Ontario Out of Doors (Oct/Nov)magazine they are reporting that a dead black bear was found at the Fort Francis dump. Biggest I've saw is 430lbs dressed. My uncle is an outfitter for bears and some guy from Ohio got that last year. That thing was enormous, couldn't imagine one that weighed 825!! A couple years back, about an hour northeast of Winnipeg,someone hit a Black Bear that weighed 896LBS.
