Guest CTJohnB
Hey all I was wondering about drag rags, I know that you normally use doe in estrus scent when using them to attract a bucks, however can you also use them with a non estrus scent mixed with a glandular scent to attract all or is this not a good idea, I bought some buck stop scent that is non estrus and it say put around your perimiter of the tree but to cover my scent going in can it be used on a drag cloth??? or even gone as far as to either mix it with an estrous or use both at the same time Thanks for all replies John
drkillemquick
Re: Drag Cloths I've always used doe in estrus on mine, not sure if non estrus would work or not? Sorry, I can't help ya on that one!
FullStrutter
Re: Drag Cloths absolutly, you can use anything. In fact, I have used Trails End #307 and dragged a line in with that scent and had several bucks over the years follow it right up to my stand. Actually, one time i was walking back out and noticed that the buck had followed the trail the wrong way and had made a scrape right where I had taken my traildrag out of the scent bag and dropped it onto the ground! The reason I like this particular scent is because it is effective all season long, prerut, rut, postrut.... although I have used it primarily prerut. It contains natural curiosity scents among others.
