Pinwheel5
Our rep brought the new Hoyts by the shop today and I got to try them all out. the Vectrix, Vectrix xl and the Vulcan are amazing. Shock free, quiet, fast, smooth drawing, etc., etc. the Vulcan impressed me as much as any speed bow could. Amazingly fast, especially for a bow so easy to draw. I ordered a 38 Ultra for myself, I like em a little longer a to a. Hoyt should do very well this year, the Vectrix is a lot better bow than the Trycons. Guest archer8030
Re: Shot the new Hoyts! I haven't shot that one yet, but you know, I have yet to find one that shoots as nice as my old Havoc Tec. To this day it's the quietest bow I've ever shot. I love my V Tec and my Hyper Tec, but there's just something about the Havoc Tec that I've been missing in the newest Hoyt bows. That being said, I'll never own anything other than a Hoyt. Pinwheel5
Re: Shot the new Hoyts! brian, i am going turkey hunting with robert friday so i will let him know. next time you are in the store stop by the archery counter and say hi. btw, he IS getting a hoyt this year, no more trouble with penetration!!!!!!!! tony, i liked the ultra a little better than the vectrix ls based on the extra 2" a to a. same cam, same feel but i was guessing the ultra would aim a little better. Pinwheel5
Re: Shot the new Hoyts! [ QUOTE ] How do you like the new cams? Didnt they introduce a new cam to the hoyts. [/ QUOTE ] Yes they did and I love it. It is as fast as the cam on the trycons but much, much smoother to draw and does not have the dump in the valley. tallone
Re: Shot the new Hoyts! Thats good to hear because my local pro shop is about to start carrying Hoyt and I've been in the market for a new bow and with the owner being a friend I might be able to swing a good deal. I didn't care for the bows he has now not saying which ones. I was wanting to look at the trykon but have heard mixed reviews. I'm limited due to my 32 inch draw length but I can swing a 31.5 with the vectrix xl.
