Re: Happy Birthday BuckNrut!

Hey guys,

Do I ever feel like a jerk for not getting here sooner. I'm 2 days late for my own "birthday party".

For my birthday I got breakfast made for me by my wife. She usually dosen't cook at all. I had a breakfast sandwich and some milk. My stepfather called and took me out for brunch (turkey club sandwich). One of my sisters called with birthday wishes. My natural father sent me a nice card that included a check. The kids presented me with 4 pairs of hunting socks. Instead of cake we had pumpkin pie (store bought).

As some of you know, I've been unemployed since February. With no gainfull opportunities available, I made the decision to go back to college. I had a few deadlines to meet this week and was not able to visit my friends here at Realtree. I've been accepted at Monroe Community College (Liberal Arts - Science/Biology) and will change the major to Radiology when enrollment opens. Since I'm lacking one high school math regents course beyond algebra it will take 3 years to complete the program instead of the normal 2. But, I get to "repeat" some courses and increase my chances of getting accepted into the program. You don't just sign up. There are too many students for the alloted space, and they go by points based on grades. You need at least a C in every class, and I have all A's & B's.

Enough blabering. I'm beginning to sound like Turkeygirl! grin.gif By the way Ruth, I need to see a pic of this year's buck. I believe that makes two years in a row with those bibs.

For those of you wondering about the shower curtain comment, you'll have to attend the next Smackdown in the Daks for an explaination. That's the only time the secret is revealed. grin.gif Regarding the toothbrush thing, It takes me about 12 minutes - I really should get one of those power brushes. grin.gif GW, I miss seeing you at the Smackdown. I hope you and your wife are enjoying this year's hunting season - together.

Again, thank you everyone for taking time to wish me a happy birthday.
