Ok folks, I'm finally getting around to making the post. We arrived on Tuesday around 9:00 pm. Headed right out in the morning to hunt ringnecks up above Baker Mt. We did pretty well there, even got some Hungarian Partriges.

The next morning after much preasure from Pap and I, Mom finally went to stand. We had a good buck on trail cam working this area, and wanted her to get on it before it moved out of the area. Also the rancher was bringing cows in. So to make a long story short, she got there just in time. Carlee was sure happy to help Grandma with her buck. LOL

Latter in the week it was off to Sharptail country. We hunted above Ismay Mt. for an afternoon, man what a blast these birds are to hunt. when the dog points, you don't know if 1 bird or 15 are going to come up. We all got our 4 bird limit in 2 hours.

The next bit of excitement was the elk the neighbor shot on his ranch. The elk had been hanging in our area, but moved down to his alphalfa fields latter in the fall. I haven't recieved pic of this yet, but they said it would go around 340", I don't know alot about elk, but I know that's big. Enjoy all, and it's good to be back. grin.gif

Congrats on an enjoyable trip! smile.gif

Are those grouse good table fare?

You bet, I pounded out the breasts with a meat tenderizer. Dipped them in egg then Saltine crackers that were crushed and seasoned. Then pan fried them in oil. Man was that good eating.
