Bond
Re: Mossy Oak.... I'm actually a mossy oak man. But I really don't think different camo patterns make a difference in the woods. You could wear wetland camo in the deer woods and be perfectly fine. Deer don't care what camo you have, just as long as it breaks up your sihlouette. buckee
Re: Mossy Oak.... [ QUOTE ] Why in the world do so many of you dislike mossy oak?? Mossy Joke... whatever you call it. I just dont understand it. Its good camo, in many situations better than realtree. I guess because this is a realtree site is why yall talk a little smack. I just wondered, i really like it here in WV where i hunt, i seem to become invisible when ground hunting and sit with a big ole oak behind me. [/ QUOTE ] That's exactly why I don't like it. It's too dark. I can look across a field along a bush-line and spot a guy in mossy Oak easy. He shows up like an old dark stump. (Just my opinion of course ) Around here we don't have Oaks either, and if we're on the ground sitting, it's usually in a fern patch, or shrub type bushes. It's Realtree forever for me. I'm not saying MO has no place, just not here, unless your hunting a burned out slash, with lots of burnt out stumps.
