hunterfisherman
A hunting buddy of mine bought a black diamond off of someone from here and had a question about the breech system. It's really different than my Omega and not sure how it works. Just ordered a new manual but could take a couple of weeks to get here. It appears to be an open breech but not sure how the 209 primer goes in and if it needs to be cocked to fire. This is his first ML and I've only been at it for a couple of years so any help would be great. Thanks guys/gals
archerjg
Re: Black Diamond On the Black Diamond when you pull the bolt back it makes the muzzleloader ready to fire. Flip the safety to green to make the muzzleloader safe. If you look toward the barrel you will see the breech and where the primer inserts. All you have to do then is set the safety to red and you are ready to fire. The bolt slides forward when the trigger is pulled to strike the primer. If you go here you can download the manual.
