I just got off the phone with the wife of our bowhunting blood brother Bulldawg, and its official...he fell 16 feet out of a treestand...he has several compound fractures to his back, and they had to plate and screw one of his knees back together....I am trying to call him right now, as we speak...the bills are still coming, and when I got off the phone, his wife was in tears...folks, if you have anything to help out with, I will be trying to raise funds for a wonderful man, and a great person to know and love....he will be laid up for at least 10 weeks, then several months of rehab......she (his wife) gave me her name and number to send anything, I mean anything to..its as follows

Jody Repinski

W8899 Lake Road

Delevan, Wisconsin 53115

At the present time, ole Bulldawg is laid up at St Vincents Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin.....Ill post further when I know it......al(PS) To speak with the beloved Tom aka Bulldawg, and he knows he's gonna get grief....his direct line to his hospital room is 1-920-433-8408......God Bless gang, and please help if you can.........al

Al,,, I don't have a whole lot to offer since my wife (Tammy) just had surgery herself and funds are tight at the moment,,, If you PM me your address I'll send something to ya to add to that fundraiser... wink.gif

May Bulldog heal quickly and 100%... My prayers and thoughts go out to him and his family....

Geesh, that doesn't sound good at all.

Thanks for the call Al, it was good to hear your voice.

I'm in for a few bucks. I guess his health insurance doesn't cover that sort thing..eh. frown.gif

I wrote down the number wrong Al. I'm glad you had it posted here too blush.gif

Just talked to Bulldawg(Tom), and he sounds like he's in a lot of pain. I guess he doesn't have accident insurance, so he has no idea right now how much this upset in his life is going to cost, out of pocket. Tom's not a wealthy guy. He's just a hard workin stiff like most of us guys in here.

I think maybe we should move this to the lounge and get a decent fund raiser going to help out a fellow hunter and friend in need. What do you think Al?

He has a safety harness up in the tree, that he hooks into when he gets up there, but was climbing freehand. He said he had about 3 steps to go, when he inadvertantly grabbed a branch, that of course broke off, since most branches below the canopy are dead and rotten. frown.gif

Hang in there Bulldawg, so sorry to hear about this yesterday from your son. We can do things as individuals and maybe try to sell things in the classifieds with proceeds going to Bulldawg! A Bulldawg type auction.

A person posts the item for sale and the buyer sends the payment right to the Bulldawg....... the seller then sends the item to the buyer. Maybe that way is easier for some to get funds to our fallen friend! frown.gif
