Guys I know we all love the Christmas exchange and look forward to it every year....But I have an idea which I will leave up to you all to decide on. But instead of spending twenty bucks on each other, how about we help our brother in need out this holiday season. Let me know what you think......

Re: CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE IDEA-for BULLDAWG!

I figure if you can afford to do the exchange, then instead of spending that on each other and gifts, we could tie all the money into one check to send to bulldawg. He needs every little penny he can get and I think that instead of doing an exchange for ourselves that we should do this instead. So that means there will be no exchange among the members, but rather send the funds used for the exchange to bulldawg.....everyone understand what I am getting at? We don't have to do this, but I think it is a wonderful idea!

The Kat,

Maybe we can do both as some (if not all) want to help bulldawg in some way but some also like getting something from someone else on here as we chat with people from all over this world. Its nice to see what others come up with for gifts too as some try to match up the gift with the personality behind the keyboard! smile.gif

So before you put the cabash to the exchange get a consensus from all the forum members who are part of that, they may indeed want to do both.

I think one of the best ideas is to have an auction in the classifieds so guys can get rid of stuff they don't need and raise some cash that way. This way the ones not in the exchange may participate and get something they need and Bulldawg and his family gets what they need, cash to help with medical bills.

Is there anyway the Realtree staff could donate something signed or used by them to help a fallen forum member. Can Scott notify them of what has happened?

This site is about Family, Friends and the Outdoors, lets show everyone how true that motto is!!

I second that, this sounds like it would be a great idea.
