RDNKHNTR77
This is always a heated debate with my friends. i Prefer 4 wheelers because u can go through so much more crap with them. Many guys like dirtbikes becuase they are faster and get through tighter places and u can do better tricks with them. Which does everyone here prefer? billygoat
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Honda Rancher 350cc 4x4, economical and goes anywhere, man's best friend.
DSGB
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Three- and four-wheelers can haul things. Dirtbikes are more for recreational use. I never had a dirtbike because I'd probably try to do something crazy and kill myself. I'll stick with the more versatile machines.
OJR
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Honda, 4X4. The rest of them are toys that wouldn't be able to get a deer or elk out of the mountains!
HarvDog
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? I would prefer a 4 wheeler. Not really interested in a dirtbike...besides, the wife would NOT allow me to have one.
bozz
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? 4 stroke engines are new found addiction of mine....just kick the 2-stroke habit......bought and sold a couple of bikes in just this past year...we still have a dirt bike (3rd bike bought this year...jeeze) lots of fun and we have used it for scouting....but I am currently in the market for a small ATV......just need to haul deer feed down to my feeders in the back yard and maybe drag a critter or 2 out.....those 50 lb. bags kick my rear last summer. VTbowman
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Its a fair question, but not for this forum. Heck man its a hunting forum. Most guys are gonna say 4x4 ATV... LOL I do anyways...
bozz
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? One thing I do like about the dirt bikes.....they sure don't take up as much room in the garage....may just pick up a small 100cc atv for my 9yr. old....thats about all I can fit in my garage for now......you guys must keep your atv's in a shed....I have a big garage but not big anuff. wtnhunt
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Got a honda 4 wheeler. Have not ridden a dirt bike in a long long time.
puffy
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Both have their pros and cons , but atv's win hands down for hunting. I own a 2002 Arctic Cat 400 4x4, and no dirt bikes right now. Use to ride a 125 Honda elsenor way back when.
pa_sportsman
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Apples and oranges. ATV's are utilitarian and much more effective for work activities. For pure joy, dirt bikes are much more fun to ride.
Shaun_300
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? well i have driven both and love both... as far as the practical part of it goes... i would buy a 4-wheeler, Bombardier Outlander 400HO or a Yamaha Kodiak 450. I love dirtbikes BUT like Brownie says... you cant yank a deer outa the bush with a dirtbike
bozz
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? Funny you guys mention draging deer out with a dirt bike.....because that was my plan this year with my son's dirt bike.....I had the perfect place a long steep driveway that leads to a pump station.....that dead ends at a creek where I hunt down it a little ways....they keep the gate locked so only a dirt bike could go around it....atv would not.....oh well I'll let ya know how it works one day.... lil hunter
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? I never really wnated a dirtbike that bad. I was always afraid i'd end up killing myself. But my neigbor bought a 3 wheeler a little while back, and thats what I want. Or a 4 wheeler.
sasksheds
Re: Dirtbikes or 4wheelers? I use to love to FLY on my Rm 125 & later a Cr 125.I still would but to many aches & pains from being busted up.I got hooked on quads when I drove my brothers polaris 250.Nice bike, fast & fun.But for what I do now I have a Honda 4man with 2 up seat, stirrups, heated bars, front & back.Great for the wife & I to go trail riding & pulling deer,moose,elk,etc... out.
