need2hunt Posted November 4, 2006 Report Share Posted November 4, 2006 Yep, rabbit and pheasant season opens tomorrow. they teased me really bad tonight. I was out sitting in my ground blind and I could have shot my limit on pheasants with my bow LOL - had several roosters come by within 5 yards - one even rubbed up against the blind. The I had a rabbit hop by as well, he was a big one. Also could have taken out quite a few squirrels. Yep seeing everything but deer LOL. I won't hit it until after gun season, or until we get snow, or until I get a deer, whichever comes last. Back in the spring and summer we had tons of rabbits around. I didn't hear too many birds, but I'm sure I'll see a couple once all this corn comes out. I'm still surrounded by about 1,000 acres of corn!
