Why so complicated?

OK, was the fifth in line this morning when they let voters in to get started. Both proposals for this state on the ballot left me going back and re-reading to make sure I fully understood them before casting my vote. Apparently I was not the only one confused as the guy who was a few minutes ahead of me getting on a machine was still reading when I left. How difficult is it to say are you for or against same sex marriage . I mean come one why do they have to use legal terms and go into a long drawn out page worth of confusing text that it takes an attorney to write to ask a simple question? Unfortunately, I am afraid many people will vote on this issue and not understand the question with the way it is worded .

Was my first time using the new electronic machines though and they are quite user friendly, and I really liked them .
