Muff Posted November 10, 2006 Report Share Posted November 10, 2006 Ok guys I finally got some pics downloaded.I had another great year in camp.....this was my 18th year there......anyway my first stop on the way up was to take some pics of a windmill farm....we are getting them here at home and wanted to see just how big they really are and talk to some land owners about them. [/image] as you can see they are very big...but I got nothing but good comments about them. Next was opening morning....my buddy shot a nice 8 pointer but could not find him....so we let him go for about 4 hours then 4 of us went for a walk to see if we could find him.....after about 45 min we were ready to give up....just then I thought I heard something just up ahead...sure enough he was about 60 yards up ahead and trying to get up.....I give him a blast of buckshot and down he went for good.....man what a tough animal....his shoulder was busted up and 1 lung gone...yet he live for 4 hours and still wanted to get up. [/image] if you look really close at his g3 (I think) you will see a chunk out of it from my buck shot. I hunted all week with a young lad that just loves to hunt....we did not get any deer...but I let him take a crack at a yote and he TUNED it....thats what he called it anyway...LOL [/image] and the biggest deer of the week came from a first time hunter....her first deer.....WHAT A SMASHER for a first deer.
