Guest Clay008
I recently purchased a Steyr M9 and love the way it shoots and fits into my hands but I was having FTE issues at first. After a little research and alot of shooting I have found that 1. Steyrs do not like UMC ammo and 2. They need to have about 500 rounds shot through them to get broke in. and 3. Steyr has redesigned the extractor and spring for the models in production still. I guess they have tighter tolerances than similar pistols. So if anyone is in the market for a Steyr just remember they need to be broke in and don't like UMC ammo.
HarvDog
Re: FYI... I've actually heard that about a few other pistols as well which is why I haven't run any UMC ammo through my SA XD 40. Thanks for the info.
Strut10
Re: FYI... Glocks will feed anything. Sorry fellers. That was uncalled for. Couldn't help myself. Definitely good info to know before you find out in a bind.
