Hillbilly Posted November 12, 2006 Report Share Posted November 12, 2006 Last night I was taking my cousins to their house to get ready for bed, when my car got onto the county road, the headlights flashed over the cut bean field what I saw was amazing. First I saw a small doe and a couple more, they were running back and forth, so put on my bright lights and saw an amazing 7pt buck with a awesome rack, and huge body, running a doe, with ears back. I knew there was another buck because of the posture I had seen from the 7pt. I pulled my car up into the end of the field, grabbed the spot light and shined, there he was not 40 yards away from the headlights, a nice 8pt, probably a 120inch buck, real nice body. This Saturday gun season will be open and I will wreak havoc on the 8pt. He's probably a 4 year old, probably not gonna get to much bigger, the 7pt, is probably a 3year old and will try and take him out next year. there were 12 deer out in the field, 2 bucks, the rest were does. I saw seven different bucks cruising yesterday throughout the day. This morning I noticed several new scraps so things are starting to heat up pretty good. Good luck to you.
