BowtechTurkeyHunter
This is my second doe this year but I actually had my camera for this one ... she was about 30 yards from me when I shot "at" her lol I shot right under her ... she ran up and onto the ridge behind a brush pile so I jumped up onto my camera stand next to the ladder I was in and nocked another arrow she walked broadside across the ridge and I smoked her ... shot her right through the heart ... she ran maybe 40 yards and piled up ... the cool thing was when I went to get the truck and my buddy he asked me where she was and I told her someplace up on the hill so we went up the loggin road and there she was right in the middle all balled up ... man there was blood everywhere lol ... I switched broadheads but thats another story ... bottom line is I went to the MX-4 and man oh man ... I dont even know why I switched ... live and learn I guess ... she goes clear across the tailgate of that truck .. I dont know if you can tell by the picture but that doe is huge ... probably one of the largest we have seen this year ... My buddy thought that the shot I took was 50 yards but I didn't think it was that far till I looked back to the stand ... I practice at that far ALOT so maybe thats why it didnt seem that far ... I figured her at 40 and used my 40 yard pin ... but there isnt a lot of difference in the 40 and 50 yard pin with them arrows ..
