Guest Dust
Re: Harvesting deer............ Look at it this way. There was no meat loss since the entire body is fully intact and no big hole in it. Just a thought.
buckee
Re: Harvesting deer............ I don't know. Ya gotta have a pretty fast Harvester if you want the big ones I'd say that deer was already dead, and the harvester just picked it up. Some poor hunter probably looked for hours for that deer, and lost the sign in the corn field.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: Harvesting deer............ I would agree with buckee on that ... I mean no deer is gonna stand in the way of that combine ... you should see them run outa the field even when them things fire up ... Retarded?? Or already dead? [/ QUOTE ] Believe it or not but I know a few farmers that have had this happen to them. The deer get to the end of the row to where the clearing is and then turn around to run back into the cover, they jump right into the combine, guess they either don't see it or think they can jump over it. Theres not much that makes a farmer madder than having to fix a combine during harvest due to being hit by a deer.
