Oh shux darn...

Murtha was voted down by a sizeable lead. I am not sure whether to rejoice because Nancy Pelosi's first task of organizing her party leaders handed her an embarrassing loss or be disappointed at not having Murtha as a leader.

Murtha would have been great to have. He would have been a nightmare for the party with his tireless bumbling idiot statements and his inability to get anything done would help the US citizens.

Instead, we get Stanley Hoyeur (sic?) who actually has much support even from republicans and has been in the game for 25 years.

So close.....

LOL. I got a good laugh out of that when I heard about it on the news New. The wife looked at me and said what has the woman done to you that you are laughing at her. I really cannot talk politics with the wife, she does not seem to understand my enthusiasm and frustrations.

Now pelosi will have to deal with her person next in line of power who she straight up lied to, serves her right.

I think that any infighting will be quited by Clinton early on.

Murtha would have gotten along with Nancy so there would have been no conflict but he would have been a lightningrod for voters. It would be a Kerryism almost every day from that guy.

I look forward to them getting nothing done. If they are smart, they will save all tax cuts for after 2008 and if Clinton is elected, look out.

That wasn't too clear New. Did you mean that they should wait until after 2008 before they start raising taxes? You and I both know that a Democrat controlled Congress will never pass tax cuts, only tax increases!

Good catch, TEXAN, that'd be TAX INCREASES. If the dems start making a negative impact on people, it will harm Hittlary. Won't happen.

I anticipate that Nancy Pelosi will march to the beat of Hittlary's whip or else suffer a fate of committing suicide in a SF park!
