Re: Handgun harvest entry thread

Yeah I know I did not register legally, but, if we let the moderator win this contest we'll all suffer.

The next step is "identity theft and free trips to Colorado"

I'll get one, just have to wait till the next gun season...............5 more days..................

You win for now RUSTY.

Hope the guys haven't given up...

As far as the "Rusty" comments....... Just what do you have against Rusty? That's a pretty low blow to him saying my ugly mug looks like him.... wink.gif

BTW.............shame on you for not signing up....

DesertEagle6pt.jpg

I'm not in your contest, but thought I'd show you my 6 point.

He was at 73 yards. (I'm zeroed in at 75 yards)

I took him with my Desert Eagle .44 mag. w/10" barrel and 2x Burris scope.

He ran about 20 yards before dropping in the thickest briars on the property.

Sorry about the photo clarity. I forgot my camera and the only option was my Capture View Binoculars backed up to about 40'.

Re: Handgun harvest entry thread

I forgot to add details... once again sorry about the poor picture, it is aphoto of a photo.

Opening day was a rough one after an uneventful morning. I decided to find a nice stump for the evening sit, a place I had never been to before. I was there about 15 minutes with this fella came walking up the draw, i saw he had a real nice sized body but could see too much of teh horns. I decided to not be so picky and take him, the shot was downhill at 40 yards, I caught him high in the shoulder and broke his back, he went down so I put a follow up shot in his chest.

The gun is a 1970's Vitnage NM Ruger super blackhawk in .44mag with real stag handle grips, shot with open sights.

Ammo : Federal permium 240 grain JHP's
