Swamphunter
I called my proshop guy and he claims he can't even get any TC Pro Hunter's sent to his shop. Not sure why, but he said that for some reason TC has told him some are coming, but they have not arrived yet. Has anyone shot one of these?? What do they sell for?? Thanks
tedicast
Re: TC Pro Hunter It might be a seaonal thing Swampy. When I bought my Encore in 209x50, the guy at my gun store told me that come sept. everyone is looking for them, and they are near impossible to get one. This was 2 years ago, and he told me it happens every year.

AvonLKHunter
Re: TC Pro Hunter Can you tell me why you like the PRO better than an Omega? I am looking to buy a ML and would like to know your opinion besides changing the barrels, what do you like the best about the pro? I have never owned a ML and I would appreciate any info. TNX JIM [/ QUOTE ] There are several reason to choose the Pro Hunter over the Omega .. Pro Hunter 28 inch fluted barrell ......Omega 26 Pro Hunter Speed Breech ( much easy to clean) Pro Hunter comfort grip Pro Hunter recoil reduction system Pro Hunter swing hammer for left or right handed shooters Omega has the exact same barrell as the regualr encore but doesnt hold a match to the Pro hunter ... the grip is the biggest fealing thing .. Swampy I have several of these Pro Hunters and can get them pretty regular .. if you are still looking for one let me know ... As far as shooting them ... they shoot nice for sure ... but I have the regular Encore and with a sims pad I have absolutely now problem shooting 1 inch groups at 100 yards ... I like them both ... but the speed breech would sell me ... real simple to clean ... Steve

[/ QUOTE ] Correct the Omega has a 28" barrel. Both are great guns. T/C is also coming out with a new muzzleloader next year for around $400 TRIUMPH Suppose to be really nice. I have read an article on it & seen an ad for it already. Looks great.
