StillLearnin
I was wondering if the O-rings on my Remington 11-87 are the same as the o-rings you can buy at a hardware store? and if so what size? I would perfer a factory o-ring but I can't get in touch with my gunsmith and I was wanting to go duck hunitng in the morning. Thanks guys. AJ
Re: O-Ring Replacement You can get them from Brownells. I suggest replacing them every other year or every year depending on usage. Also I would inspect them a while before season, not the day before.
StillLearnin
Re: O-Ring Replacement Ya I know to replace them every year but I have only had the gun since Aug. and I shoot it about twice a week. I also clean it after every outing thats when I noticed it was bad, after saturday's duck hunt. I was hoping to get one soon in order to take it out in the morning (tuesday). Thanks

Guest Xen
Re: O-Ring Replacement I replaced mine with some standard generic hardware store o-rings. They seemed to show wear easier then the original remington o-rings when shooting a lot (like 100 rounds during competition). not sure if it was the increased heat or what. they held up fine for a winter of duck hunting also. I always kept a keen eye on them, but the worked very well for me. I don't think you need to pay for the remington part. just my 2 cents. BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: O-Ring Replacement If you order them from brownells you can get them over nighted for little or nothing ... I mean they will fit in an envelope and they mail USPS ... other wise if you still cant get them I can get one from my shop and send them to you ..
