NYBUCK
With a 6 inch barrel, barely ever shot. What is it worth ???? Jim
Guest Clay008
Re: S & W 44 mag If you know the model number you can try gunbroker.com to give you an idea of what it is worth. By the way a .44 mag is a cannon! I have only shot one a handful of times and it takes everything I have to not let it hit me in the face. NYBUCK
Re: S & W 44 mag Here it is .... I am buying this. It is in excellent shape, hardly been fired. Paying $475 for it. What do you think? The only difference is it has the straight grips on it.
Guest Clay008
Re: S & W 44 mag Considering I just went to the S&W website and it looks like it retails for $700 or $800(the new ones could be different though). I would think $475 would be a good price. Don't take my word for it though do your homework. Does the one you are going to buy come with adjustable sites also? hangunnr
Re: S & W 44 mag I think $475 is a bit on the high side unless it's unfired. Bluebook shows a 629 in 95% (typically what a used revolver will be even though it's very clean and tight) in the $350 range. I personally wouldn't pay that price. But, like most things.......it really depends on just how much you need it. hangunnr

hangunnr
Re: S & W 44 mag I get my copy from a local gun shop. If you don't have a local shop that has them they are available online from Amazon. Blue Book of Gun Values @ Amazon.com hangunnr
