Stinger-Hunter
AJ, what do you think about the Brenneke slugs. My 870 seems to fire them well, but wanted your opinion on other sabots that have a good rep.

ALAN
Re: Brenneke Slugs try shooting lightfields out of your 870..they shot really good out of mine at 50 and 100..at 50 i put 5 into a paper plate with no problems..went to 100 and drew a dart board took 2 shots one just to the left of bullseye and the other just to the right same distance apart from each other..i went through alot of slugs trying to find one to group..the only ones i could get to group was the lightfields... AJ
Re: Brenneke Slugs The Brenneke Rottweil slugs are great slugs for a smoothbore barrel. The golden slug is designed for use in a rifled barrel. Like Alan said, Lightfield slugs are also very good and are popular.
Stinger-Hunter
Re: Brenneke Slugs Ok, I'll try Lightfields tomorrow at the range (Thanksgiving morning). I think I shot the Hybrids a few months ago, but I'll give them another whirl. Thanksgiving may give me the opportunity to shoot at the 100 yard range without yahoos being out there going crazy. Thanks guys
