huntrman
This year has been by far the most frustrating year of hunting for me and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I have not seen a shooter all year. I know they are on the property because my brother has seen them and have landowners talking about them. What is the deal? The past week or so I've seen just does and does only. Absolutely no bucks following them. Are they on the "lockdown" period? Any ideas? We have 4 stands set up and I've not seen a shooter out of either, but like I said, my brother has. I wouldn't care if I saw a shooter that was 100 yards away, I just want to see one so bad. Anyone else having this luck?

wtnhunt
Re: Where are they? Dont know. Have seen some younger bucks chasing or following does here for the past week or so. Last time I know of a big mature deer being on our property, he got his pic made back on the 12th right at legal shooting light behind where I had just moved a stand FROM .
