Straight Shooter Posted November 26, 2006 Report Share Posted November 26, 2006 I can't complain about it, having taken 8 deer with my bow, but it's over until next year. I struggled to make it through this one and finally had MRI's done on my left shoulder. I've got two tares in my rotator cuff, burcitis, and tendonitis. I'll be having surgery on December 1st and out of bow shooting commition for about 4 to 6 months. That'll be plenty of time I hope to get back in shape for hunting season in 07. Good luck to all of you and be safe out there. I'll have plenty of time to get on here after Friday and do some chicken pecking on the keyboard with one hand! mike Posted November 26, 2006 Report Share Posted November 26, 2006 Re: My season is over. sorry to here it bud! i think i may have torn a rotator also but i am holding off going to the doc till after deer season. its my right shoulder and i can hardly pull the bow back! tonights probably my last night though since gun season starts, and the holidays are going to eat up most of my weekends now! good luck with the surgery! LOL I'm hoping for a fast and full recovery. Tominator I feel your pain, not being able to hunt in Ohio, it stinks to miss any hunting at all. I had to miss 8 weeks last years due to back surgery.
