VermontHunter
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD [ QUOTE ] IF NOT WELL DON'T HUNT SHOOT A TARGET [/ QUOTE ] Now why would you go and say something like that ???? ..... There are alot of BH out there that don't require a #70 bow shooting 330 FPS... and they work just fine for killing big animals...

Is 65lbs @ a 29" draw enough power??? Seems to work REALLY well for him this year using MAGNUS STINGERS!!!!!!!!!!
snapper
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD I prefer the new Rage 2 blades mech. heads. 2" hole going in and coming out...got a nice 8pt. and a doe this past archery season using these heads. BTW, I'm not shooting 70lbs with a 30" draw...my arrow is leaving the bow at or around 240 fps. Welcome to the forums...keep in mind when you use the word "best" its just a matter of opinion. You may get some that agree...but you also have to be prepared to hear folks opinions that disagree!
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD IMO...if you need "power" for a broadhead to perform well...its not good at all...its a well placed shot that matters...there are alot go great broadheads out there...not just the ones you shoot....muzzys...G5 montecs, grim reapers...all proven to be leathal

snapper
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD azhunter...its great that you have the ability to kill animals out to the yardage you shoot. Its also great that you have confidence in the products you use ie: (best broadheads). However, you gotta understand that not all folks hunt the same way...not all folks hunt the same animals...shoot the same bows...arrows...etc...so what maybe the "best" for you and your setup may not be the "best" for the next hunter. A product maybe the "best"...however, alot of folks find something that works great for them and stick with it...this is the "best" for them. Your opinion of what is the "best" is just that...an opinion. Your intitled to it....just be prepared to hear negative feedback as well as positive. BAMABUCKS
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD Well, from reading this post & the 2 about ke, I will have to say that you have totally forgotten what bowhunting is all about. to quote Gene Wensell..."people have forgotten bow hunting is about how close, not how far..." I'm betting you are one of those that when rifle hunting wants the biggest ultra, new & improved, alpha male, etc. magnum you can buy. Oh never mind, why shoot a rifle when you can shoot your bow just as far.

[/ QUOTE ] You can keep them Vortex. I used them and lost two 8 points. I shot a doe, double lunged, at 20 yards with snow on the ground and I had to basically crawl on my hands and knees to find that deer. I shoot G5 Montecs now and I'am really impressed with them.
