Bow Hunter Derek
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD NOTHING good can come out of a thread like this ... NOTHING. There is no "best" anything. It is a Chevy/Ford/Dodge debate. That garbage got old a long time ago on here. Most products out there work great most of the time. Any product will fail in the wrong situation or some times on a fluke. I know someone who shot the head you are raving about only to have it fail miserably, and YES he has the bow to do it, and he actually owns the largest bow shop in NE Indiana. He knows his stuff. But in the defense of your prized head ... they are capable of working quite well. There are MANY good heads out there that work fine. The BEST head is one that flies true from your setup, is razor sharp, and holds up to do its job. That is the BEST broad head. Let's drop the Chevy/Ford/Dodge debate. Tom2008
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD I use Sonics and I love them. Haven't taken a deer with them yet, but they are nailing the same spot as my field points so I am impressed. No tuning needed at all. Sherm_Hill
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD I have killed my last 10 deer(6 does and 4 bucks) with spitfires all past thoughs and the farthest deer ran about 60 yards the closest was about 10 yards, so the spitfires work great for me! buckee
Re: THE BEST BROADHEAD [ QUOTE ] G5 montecs are crap, the blades chip to easy [/ QUOTE ] What the heck are you shooting them at?? I love my G5's. Sharp broadheads kill deer. If your the kind of person who doesn't like to sharpen things, then G5's aren't for you. I like the Montec G5's because you do't have to mess around with broadhead tuning. I have a set of 3 that I only use for target practice, and a couple of good sharpened sets for hunting.
