Check the bedding out if the gun does not shoot well. I had to bed mine to get it to perform. My 70 Classic would shoot 4" groups before I bedded it. Now its averaging 1". If its 8 pounds factory like mine get that fixed and i bet accuracy will increase exponentially with every pound. I dont know why my super shadow is so heavy cause my dads .270 model 70 shoots with a light trigger pull and he gets 1.5 inch groups from it.
