Gentry was on Bushnell's show a while back showing his game room with lots of different mounts. He's no rookie to hunting and he knows better than what it appears he tried to pull off. The outfitter will probably get a well deserved huge penalty. He certainly sounds like a scumbag. Am glad to see he just paid the fine and didn't try "lawyer" his way out of it. [/ QUOTE ] Fines are set by what the state in question has written in to law for maximum and minimum sentences. It is not based on your income although I think it should incorporated somehow. He made a mistake which happens to everybody but I also think he should have known better. I still enjoy listening to their music and the fact that Eddie released a statement right after Troy was accused that said he and Troy would continue to cut albums and remain together as a duo, really made me respect him as a man and a friend. Minnisota does have agreements with 22 or 23 other states that he will not be able to hunt in for 5 years. What P.O's me is that he was going to enter the bear in the Pope and Young records to get his name in "The Book's" If he did it once he's done it before. I just wonder about the other "Trophies" on his walls?? He has fallen from hunter to POACHER and will be labled as so from now till eternity. Yeah, that's real American of Ya'll!!! Hey, I know, let's all get together like the bunch of anti's that you sound like and ban hunting bears or any other species for everyone that's famous because they have more money than me or you! WOW, capitalism doesn't stand a chance with some of you. He admitted he might have been in the wrong from the get go and he pleaded guilty in accordance with the law. He is paying a fine like the rest of us should and just because he has the money he's cut down for that too. I sure hope none of you guys make a mistake and plead guilty or even get a ticket because that would make you unworthy to be here no matter what the circumstances. I bet more than we know have gotten tickets or worse on here but are not about to stand up and be ridiculled. Had to vent about those that are so quick to judge others on here.
