wheelin99xj
I am going to get a new Remington SPS in 22-250, will be using it mostly for coyotes, maybe a couple trips prairie dog hunting, and just shooting. I think I am wanting something around a 4-12x40. I would like to spend $225 or less. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

ousoonerfan22
Re: Help me pick a scope My son just bought a new Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x42 with ballistic plex on ebay for around $260,he has this scope on his 30-06 and it's a nice scope. There are many of these new scopes on ebay and Bass Pro sells the same scope for $399 plus tax.
Guest ronin
Re: Help me pick a scope At that price range the best bet might be the Simmons Aetec Master. I think you can buy it for about 190-200. I have this scope on a CZ in 223 and really like it. The clarity is just as good as anything else I have to include my VXIII's. I think the only drawback is light transfer. Now that I have used the scope for awhile, I can see that my VXIII's are brighter.
Jeramie
Re: Help me pick a scope Check out the Redhead line at BP. I know they dont get the press others do but they are suppose to be mfg by bushnell. I bought their 6x18x50mm for $100 and its as clear as a bell. Im taking over 200 yard shots on 20oz water bottles. This past weekend I took a 272yd shot at a pine tree. Two shots were off no more then 6" in a cross wind (shooting a .243). For the money they are a great scope. I just put one on my .22lr too. Im really enjoying their scopes.
