The_Kat
Man, once again the finance office has screwed me. Went to pick-up my paycheck and was told they didn't have one for me. So after checking into it I found out they simply lost my time sheet and didn't make out a check for me. So now I have to wait another month until the next pay period before getting my check. So I guess I will have to figure out another way to pay for bills and gas this month! This makes the third time this year they have screwed me over. Thanks for letting me vent! It must be a crock of venison stew you are referring to. Right? LMBO It's the best kind of crock.
BowJoe
Re: What a crock! Did you know that's illegal? You can go to the department of labor in your state and they'll force them to write you a corporate paycheck. By law, they have to give you your check on the regularly scheduled day or write you a check asap. I had a boss that liked to screw us over by making us wait til he felt like paying us depending on his mood so I went to the department of labor and he got all kinds of fines and he couldn't touch me cause it was 100% anonymous. They can't hold your check from you for any reason when other's are getting paid. You could sue them for loss and any loans you have to get because of their error. Good luck and keep your reciepts. You may need them and I mean for all of your expenses including meals and gas and late fees incurred on bills. Trust me on this.
wtnhunt
Re: What a crock! Sounds like a messed up situation. Think I would be following Joes advice here. They should have to get you a new check issued and overnighted to you.

Guest Clay008
Re: What a crock! They should be able to cut you a check. It is probably a pain for them but, it is not your fault they messed it up. I would talk to the accounting manager and try to get them to write you a check. Just keep going up the ladder till you find someone that will help.
