Guest DBaker
How many calls you usually take with you? What are your gamer calls?
Swamphunter
Re: The calls you take with you... Grunt tube and estrous bleat during the rut and that is about it. I don't mess with rattling as it would be pretty ineffective in a state like NY where you may have 1 or 2 bucks per every square mile. Lets just say "They ain't fallin for it". Shaun_300
Re: The calls you take with you... I hardly ever take any calls, when I do though I just take my grunt tube.
wtnhunt
Re: The calls you take with you... Usually two or three. My old grunt call almost always goes with me even if I take a different one, usually take the can call, and sometimes take the rattle bag mainly before the rut. rad_112176
Re: The calls you take with you... I always take my True Talker grunt tube and primos bleet can with me. I usually have my rattle bag somewhere in my back pack also because you never know what a large buck may come to. I have have bucks come in to the rattle back early and late in the season with just barely rubbing them on my leg so it sounds like a couple of smaller bucks messing around. For no more room than these calls take up they are better to have on hand instead of wondering if you could have done something different.
