When I cow call I just use my lips, it's something I've been practicing for 20 years and I get a much more realistic set of sounds than any cow call. I like the Carlton's diaphragm calls for other elk sounds. I think I can tell the difference in the field between a 'package' call tube with a built in diaphragm that most newbies use.
