njbowhunter27
I am planning on hunting PA next year and was wondering if someone could tell me about there inline season. I thought it was doe only with inlines. Then a seperate season with flintlock for bucks. I just seen a pic in the trophey den of a buck kiiled with a t/c encore. Can anyone clear this up for me. Also a non res license is like $100 and archery is $30 do I need both if I only want to hunt archery. thanks
Hoyt03
Re: ? for PA hunters To hunt you will need the 100$ license plus the archery stamp 30$ So 130$ to hunt rifle season and archery(if thats what the prices are) Now if you want to hunt muzzelloader you need a stamp for that too, probaly same amount as archery. We have two muzzelloader seasons. First season is 3rd week or the season Oct, inlines are allowed, but doe only. 2nd ml season is flintlock only buck or doe if you have tag, usually around xmas. During rifle season which is going on right now, you can use rifle ml etc. That is probaly the deal with the buck in the other forum. Now if it was w/ an encore maybe it was a rifle barrel and not ml.
njbowhunter27
Re: ? for PA hunters thanks for the info. So you say during the regular rifle season I can use my inline muzzleloader. With just a rifle license correct?
JimPic
Re: ? for PA hunters yes--you can use an in-line during rifle season without having a ML permit
